WTF why?
There's no fish up there.
...right?
maybe there are birds.
They're probably doing it for fun. I used to climb trees for fun all the time as a kid.
That is probably true. If something is fun, otters are bound to do it at some point
Otters need to be far seeing sometimes. Trees are great for this purpose.
Can their small eyes really see that far?
I mean, only Asian otters have really small eyes. The rest of the otter species have fairly normal eyes.
Asian otters have slant eyes?

Otters aren't as good at climbing trees as their tree dwelling cousins.
Wow, what is that ball of cuteness? What kind of otter-cousin is that? Is it also a mustelid?
That my fellow otter is a marten. Yes they are musty lads.
To be fair to the person, would you not pick up an otter if you had the opportunity?
i would let an otter pick me up.
And I would let him lick me up.
Right up a tree
I don't remember martens having such adorable big ears. (Cue Little Red Riding Hood: what big ears you have, GrandOtter!)

Masters of Bush, River, Sea, Art AND trees? Are ottes OP?
Sometimes it seems like otters are too powerful, but in truth, they can do what they can do because they've got to do what they've got to do.
That otter is making some nice abstract impressionist art.
I bet otter art would be really valuable. They should put it up in art museums to show what true artistry is
